Lili Clean uses various cookies on its websites. Cookies are small files containing configuration information that are stored on your device. Cookies can generally be divided into three categories.

Functional cookies are essential for the functionality of the website. The processing of functional cookies is necessary to enable you to visit the website (cf. Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
So-called comfort cookies increase the convenience of a website visit by, for example, storing your language settings. The legal basis for comfort cookies is legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The legitimate interest lies in providing a certain level of convenience during your visits to the website. So-called tracking cookies are used to create a pseudonymised usage profile. Tracking cookies are only set if the website visitor has given consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Consent is given via the so-called cookie banner, which must be actively clicked.

Within the categories described, different types of cookies are used. Below are explanations of the most common types of cookies for your understanding:

1. Session cookies

While you are active on a website, a session cookie is temporarily stored in your computer’s memory. This cookie contains a session ID in order to prevent, for example, that you have to log in again each time you change pages. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or lose their validity as soon as your session has automatically expired.

2. Persistent or log cookies

A persistent or log cookie stores a file on your computer for the period defined in the expiry date. These cookies allow websites to remember your information and settings the next time you visit. This leads to faster and more convenient access, as you do not, for example, have to set the language for our portal again. Once the expiry date has passed, the cookie is automatically deleted when you visit the website that created it.

3. Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies come from providers other than the operator of the website. They can be used, for example, to collect information for advertising, customised content and web statistics.
